Thank you for your interest in starting counseling with me! I value your time and don't want you to complete the virtual intake paperwork only to discover that we may not be a good fit for one another. Here are a couple of things to consider before completing the  intake paperwork. 

• I do not bill insurance directly but I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement. Many insurance company state that they do not cover marriage or couples counseling. 

• I offer discounted fee rates for people who may have difficulty affording the full fee for therapy services this is called a sliding fee scale. I offer a sliding fee scale based on income to help make therapy services more affordable for my clients

• My fee for therapy is $150.00 for 60 minute sessions and $190.00 for 75 minute sessions which is paid at the date of service. I recommend 75 minute sessions for couples. 

• I  only see clients during standard business hours - Monday through Friday 9-5 pm. 

• I am licensed in the state of Michigan in the United States of America so I can only provide therapy services to you when you are physically in the state of Michigan.

• I am exclusively seeing clients virtually through the secure platform provided by therapyappointment.com

Filling out the virtual intake paperwork and registering through the secure website www.therapyappointment.com is required before you can get scheduled. Completing an intake does not guarantee an appointment. Please allow approximately 30-60 minutes to register with therapy appointment and complete the virtual intake paperwork. Once an intake is completed I will review it and contact you within 1-2 business days. Once you are accepted as a client you can then schedule your appointments online through therapyappointment.com
